What's a Didgeridoo?
The didgeridoo is is a wind instrument, as a matter of fact: one of the worlds oldest musical instruments! It originates 50,000 years ago in Australia with the Aborigines, and is still used today.!
The didgeridoo creates a low, resonant droning tone which can be varied by movementof the mouth and cheeks. The sound is very relaxing, and is a perfect compliment to hand-drums and other percussion.
Original Australian didgeridoos are made by termites hollowing out fallen eucalyptus branches, and then fine tuned and intricately painted by a native craftsperson. These sell in Australia for hundreds of dollars.
The Didgeridoos we offer are a high quality reasonably priced alternative to the eucalyptus branches! Our didges are made from durable PVC, lovingly stained and hand painted to represent the real thing.
The perfect instrument for entry level, playing! Many adavaced players like our instruments as well.

How To Play the Didgeridoo:
• Take a breath and blow into the didge with your lips inside the mouthpiece.
• To get a feel for creating the "drone tone", start with your lips slightly opened and relaxed as you blow, then slowly bring them together till you hear the buzzing tone,
• Once you have the basic tone, you can vary it by moving your tongue and cheeks along with changing the tightness of your lips. Try adding your voice on top of all sound!
• Advanced players can learn "Circular Breathing" a method of playing where you breathe in through the nose while still blowing air through the didge, creating a continuos, non-stop tone. It's hard to learn, but well worth to learn!
