More descriptive detail: This Montgomery radio phono piece is currently in every aspect in "as found" condition, which means as found and untested with original tubes etc - in original condition. (I have not even wiped of the original dust form the record changer!)
I do not test equipment until I am ready to work on it, as usually I take the unit apart and do quite a few pre-tests before I test with applying power.
So: The unit may or may not work, but appears in nice overall condition and complete. Due to the age of this unit, I would expect the usual work to be required for reliable performance to original specifications: replacement of capacitors, cleaning / restoring of all contacts and tube sockets. Inspection and replacement of rubber parts where needed, degrease of all old lubricants and re-lubricate everything mechanical etc., etc.

As to physical condition: With a couple of words I would say: "nicely aged"
If you look at the flocking of the record changer platter, you will notice that it except for a bit of dust on it, is flawless (!), which indicates that the unit was used gently and cared for. It is quite rare to find players of that age in that condition.

The unit can be either sold "as found" or fully restored. If opting for restoration, we would need to discuss further detail to establish a price.
