Description: Hook turntables, Mics or other equipment to your existing audio equipment and mix to your hearts delight! This stereo mixing console is quite versetile. Featuring 3 Microphone inputs, plus 2 stereo inputs that can be assigned between phono and tape level. This unit allows to expand any audio system, including your computer sound card to have multiple audio inputs at 3 different input level types: Phono (for direct vintage turntable hook-up - includes RIAA equalized phono pre-amps!), Microphone and Line level inputs. This mixer will accept 2 turn tables with magnetic cartridges, but also provides alternatively 2 inputs for ceramic or chrytal cartridge equipped turn tables or tape / AUX. In addition to phono inputs, there is one additional stereo Tape / Aux / CD input, and there are 2 more inputs for 2 mono or one stereo microphone. This unit provides a headphone output, which allows to monitor or to cue (listening to the cued device through head phones, while the unit outputs audio acording to fader settings. All inputs can be fed to the output in mixed format, or one by one selectively, when all undesired chanel faders are muted by seting them to zero. This unit features a quality all-metal construction and is a great value! This unit can directly be connected to a recording device or can be hooked up through a stereo system. It even can be used to feed to a mono device, such as a house PA.

The Mackie CR1604-VLZ is one of the cleanest and most vesitile mixers out there. With over 130 db in dynamic range, it's specifications warrant to be used for high resolution audio recordings to satisfy 192Khz / 24-Bit resolution analogue to digital convernsion requirements. It's design qualities and features are aimed towards the recording professional and leave other Mixers behind. In a nutshell th 1650-VLZ offers 16 input chanles with 16 (!) Microphone pre-amps, a generous 4 Bus design, which allows sub mixes, and it features 6 Aux / effects sends. Each Chanel strip offers parametric EQ.
Condition: If it was not for a few minor scratches on the bottom plate I would describe my unit as mint. When I bought it, it had a problem in the power supply that Mackie promptly repaired under warranty and the unit has been working perfectly ever since then. All and everything is working perfectly, and the unit looks new. I only used in my home recording studio.
