Description: This Admiral vintage and completley reworked US made tube amplified record changer is from the early / mid 50s. It is a stand alone 3 tube amplified record changer which means: records can be stacked for uninteruppted play and ony the unit without anything else is needed to play your records. The unit is covered with tolex in a suitcase type wooden case. The unit has been completely reworked and is ready for another life-time of music pleasure. It extremely easy to use and the unit outputs a good amount of volume. This record changer is pefect to play 16 33 45 and 78 record types automatically of any sizes.
Rework included a complete re-work of the amplifier which means each and every capacitor was replaced to provide reliability for many years without trouble. This unit has nice vintage sound - Bring back memories by playing your favourites in original vintage sound from decades years back!

Tubes: 3: Pre amp, Output and Tube Rectifier
Condition: The unit shows some signs of use and age, but is in good to excellent condition. Fully refurbished and working nicely. Please note that these early / mid 50's type of players are built prety rugged, which means do not perform to hi-fi standards, which means the record may drag slightly, thus not the best for opera, or music that has long sustained tones, but perfect for rhythmic music.
Work perfomred to recondition this unit: Amplifier: All capacitors in the power supply, and signal coupling capacitors were replaced, Deoxydized and lubricated all controls, connectors, switches. Record changer chassis: Nearly a complete tear down of the changer chassis: degreased, cleaned and re-lubricated all mechanical parts, Inspected and replaced rubber parts, such as motor mounts, some lever guides. Re-worked surfaces of drive parts, Cleaning and detail work. Full functional test: OK. The unit works smoothly and sounds great.
Lot: 1 Admiral USA made tube amplified portable all in one record changer with original tubes installed, includes: The 45 singles record changer adapter, a good used stylus and a new NOS stylus in original box. Both stylie are the flip over type with needles for LP and 78.

It is a stand alone tube amplified unit, which can play records of all 4 speeds: 16, 33, 45 , and 78 RPM. The unit has a nice 1950's christmas decoration at the inside of the lid and has classic Christmas colors.
The unit was fully refurbished in all aspects: complete amplifier refurb, mechanism / rubber for drive wheel, new cartridge and stylus - it is ready to perform reliably for decades to come! Description: This USA made RCA Victrola portable record player is a stand alone tube amplified unit, which can play records of all 4 speeds: 16, 33, 45 , and 78 RPM. Typically the type of unit that was used in colege dorms, but is built nicely: all metal - even the tone arm! The unit has a nice "His mater's voice" lable at the inside of the lid.
The unit was fully refurbished: complete amplifier refurb, mechanism and cartridge. This unit is now ready for years of service! A great standalone unit to listen to theose old records in vintage sound again! Now even loud and clear, due to the new cartridge! For the tube lovers: This unit has a single ended amplifier employing 1 25L6 tube used in triode mode!

While I can't stop you from using a ground lift to operate the unit as it originally was, I can point out to you that bypassing this safety feature may be a shock hazard and that I advide against it.
Performed physical cleaning and detail work, full functional test: OK.

Description: This is the smallest stereo console I have ever had - It's cute! A piece vintage US made audio equipment (made with foreighn components) that was reworked to provide years of trouble free serice. This stereo was very likely made between 1975 and 1978. It is complete and stand alone, meaning the amplifier and speakers are built-in - Nothing else needed - ready to play! In addition the unit offers the hook-up for external speakers (if wanted) and the unit provides and AUX input. It's record changer plays all record sises (7" 10" 12") and offers 33, 45, 78 RPM speeds with the needed flip over stylus to play 78's. The unit was re-worked to be 100% functional with addressing issues for long term reliability. This includes to replace cpacitors in the amplifier plus to re-work all mechanical parts in the record changer chassis. The unit is is in nice condition - excellent and very clean with only minor signs of age / usage and great sound quality ofr it's size! - Play yer ol records again! - Bring back the feeling of precious memories or create new ones!
