Telex Aviation / Pilot Headset
Model: MRB-600 / FAA TSO C57 & C58
Made in the USA.
Description: This aviation headset was manufactured in the USA by TELEX, , Minneapolis, Mnnesota. It includes the Telex PT-200 Finger switch, which is wired into the cabling. The ear cups have soft rubber seals around the outer edges as to fit snugly and comfortably over the ears. The ear piece rubber is covered with a removable fabric cover for even more comfort. The head band is covered with soft plastic, for a comfortable extended wearing. The mouthpiece microphone is adjustable and pivoting for exact positioning. Wiring comes out to two 1/4" plugs.
Condition: Good to excellent, minor signs or wear, Wiring appears to have been reworked (addion of the PT-200 switch?) and at sections is wrapped with electrical tape. Other connections use quality heat shrink tubing. Headset working, Mic not tested yet.

Description: Here we have an original vintage SONY portable CD player from 1988, which was SONYs top quality product line relased at a time when portable CD players were still novelty. This player features a black gun metal exterior and weights slighly more than a pound (heavey!) The D-15 is charaterized by it's outstanding sound quality and an extraordinary powerful headphone output (- not comparabe to the latter produced cheapo plastic players! - You will hear the difference!) This specimen is in excelent near mint condition (sorry about the bad photo - it was hard to photograph, and the photo does not represents the beauty and imaculate condition at it at all!). The unit was recently refurbished and works well. The usual problem of a "scratchy volume control" was addressed and this works flawlesly.
Detailed Features: FRONT PANEL: LED back light LCD dislay for the display of: track, Step/Min, seconds; hold switch; Enter/Remain button, Mode buttons for play and key; Voulme control. TOP PANEL: Open buttonm Skip backwars and Skip forwards button, stp button, Play button, metal top cover qith window, SONY loge and "it's a Sony" sticker. SIDE PANELS: Headpphone and Remote control jacks; REAR PANEL: Line Out and "DC 9V In" jacks.
Bottom PANEL: Battery door (metal (!); Power connector for extender battery back, Model number sticker with serial number, cut outs for external battery attachments.
Condition: Excellent to Near Mint, The top sides of the unit look almost like new and have only minor signs or wear, The bottom panle has a few more noticeable sings of wear. All parts are original. The unit was recently serviced and performs well.
Work performed to restore this unit: Degreased and re-lubricated mechanical parts and parts in the sled assembly, cleaned the lens; deoxudized and lubricated the volume control potentiometer, physical cleaning and detail work, attampt to re-condition the original rechargeable battery, full functional test; OK
Lot: vintage SONY D-15 Discman portable CD player as described above. The original SONY rechargeable battery fro this unit is inluded, however: attempted to re-vitalize the battery, but it is just too old, so: won't work. The unit will work with a power adapter, and if paying an additional $55, I can custom modify this unit to fit a custom made internal rechargeable battery for battery operation. FREE item included: Will include a wallwart type original SONY power adapter with which the unit will play (tested, works reliably). However: this power supply is not the original model that came with this unit and provides less power, which means, that it will under power the unit (somewhat reduced heaphone output power, LEDs "flickering" slightly with volume cranked up and headphones connected) and this power supply will not be suitable to charge any rechargeable batteries.

Vintage Portable 8-Track Player!

Description: This unit is in perfectly workign condition with great quality heads. A Portable 8-Track Player / Radio / TV Receiver and Weather Radio! What a strange combination (cool!). Classic 70’s: Pop in a tape and dance down the street doing the real bump. I believe that this machine was made between 1977 and 1980. The unit offers a head phone jack. When quality head phones are hooked up: This unit sounds amazing! (...but th espeakers are cool too!)
It’s in perfect working condition because I overhauled it completely: It's ready to roll: All controls and switches are deoxydized and lubricatd. All mechanical parts are lubricated. It works perfectly and the head is in great shape. All repaired to last. Get those old original 8-tracks out! The unit physically shows signs of use.
Portable 8-track Player detailled features: Runs on AC, or with an exteral AC adapter or on batteries (D-cells to last long!). There are 2 doors: a battery cover and a compartment to store away the AC chord. The operating elements are: an on/off button and a slider tone switch (“sharp” + “soft”), 4 track indicator LED’s, the function selector: tape, AM, FM / TV1, TV2 / Weather Band, A tunig knob and 2 volume controls. The unit has a stereo amplifier and 2 speakers, but I believe th eradio is mono through out as I did not see a stereo decoder circuit. There is a 5 element telscoping antenna.

About the size of a DVD box, but slightly thicker.When new this sold at a list price of $369.00 and still is sold in the $250 range (researched 9/15/06).
