More Audio Processors below! ...

Description: Vintage USA made PRO - Gear. Use to measure frequency distribution of your PA in live sound situations, for frequency response curves of speakers, or other scietific / electronics applications. This unit offer a built-in pink nouse generator with front panel output (1/4") and it offers both line (1/4") and Mic (XLR) level inputs. The noise source can be turned on/off with a switch. The input can be accurately attennuated over a wide range: There is a 11 step attenuator switch ranging form -120 to -70 dB plus an input range switch that allows to drop the signal an additional -20 dB. The display section of the unit allows to set weight curves: flat, C, A. There is decay time control for slow, fast and hold. The display serves 10 bands (31.5, 63, 125, 250, 500 Hz, 1 Khz, 2K, 4K, 8K, 16K) in 10 signal level steps (-20 to +3 dB). The unit was refurbished and work included: to re-solder about 85% of all solder points. To replace 2 aged capacitors. To de-oxydize and re-lubricate all controls and switches. And physical cleanign an detail work.

Condition: Good physical condition, soem signs of age and use, but overall clean. Electronics re-worked. Tested and working well.

Stereo Signal Processors - for Recording - American Made

Apt Holman
Stereo Pre-Amplifier / Spatial Expander / To-Mono Blender and Phono Pre-Amp (for horizontally and for latherally cut records!)

©2004 Ultraelectronicactive.com
A stereo - imaging processor to expand or mix to mono with high grade phono inputs. Perfect to convert vinyl recordings and to exapand a console with a phono pre-amp and to add more AUX / LINE INPUTS

Description: This is a modified version of the original Apt Holmna pre-Amplifier. The modification makes from the Stereo / Mono blend expansion circuitry and the balance control availalbe to the recording output. This allows to use the unit when looped into the recording path to proces the stereo field of a stereo signal, includignthe processing of phono signal coming from vinyl when a turn table is hooked up the the high grade phono-pre amp of this unit. This also allows to process early laterally grooved 78 RPM records with a standard turntable for horizontally grooved recred and without the need for additional hardware / equipment. I have done some amazing early vintage record transfers with this unit! Further features are: A signal can be mixed continously to moeno, or expanded into spatial propperties creating a 3 dimensional impression of the input sound. This effect is created by the Holman pre-amplifier by means of just analog amplifier circuitry: the left signal is substracted from the right. In practical application this allows for example to stereoize mono recordings with amazing results. I recorded some old 78 RPM records from the mid 20's and was able to bring out detail and room information not previously heared. It semeed that the unit was able to bring out hidden information projected into the stereo field from the mono reord. If you are into recording or transferrign records ot digital, this unit will be a swiss army knife type tool. It will expand you AUX / Line input pat with 2 phono pre-ampliifers and with 5 line level input (included 2 tape inputs that provide outputs.) Phono pre-amplifier 1 provides resistive and capaitive cartridge loading via switches on the back for optimum adaptation of the pre- amp to the cartridge to be used.©2004 Ultraelectronicactive.com

Features: Inputs: Phono1,2; tuner, AUX1,2; Tape 1,2 (with tape copy functions); Outputs: 2 tape outputs, 2 signal outputs, Externqal processor loop in/outs, Phono stage details: capacitive loading: 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 pf, resistive loading: 47K, 100K, infrasonic filter; 2 unswitched and 3 switched AC output jacks; Controls: Volume, Ballance, Stereo Mode (L+R, to Stereo, to L-R), bass, trebble; Switches (via front panel): tape 1, tape 2, dub 1>2, dub 2>1, external processor, stereo mode: L>R, R>L, bass mode: low shelf / Roll off, Tone defeat, high filter, mute switch, power switch.

Soundcraftsmen
Recording / Playback Equalizer - Model: RP2212

Soundcraftsmen-RP2212-EQ

Description: Soundcraftsmen built much of its reputation around studio-grade equalizers. The company initially built strictly equalizers and supplied a good deal of such equipment to the recording industry, where equalization was so important to the recording process. Soundcraftsmen was one of America's most respected audio component manufacturers. It was established in Santa Ana. The founders of the company took great pride in the fact that each Soundcraftsmen component was hand assembled and wired. Each component was proudly marked "Made in USA." Rarely was a Soundcraftsmen component ever returned for warranty work. Get a truely vintage piece of quality gear. It has it's own character in sound due to apllied LC technology. The frequency determining components are coils for each band. Coils can be tuned. The active amplifier circuitry of the RP2212 is comprised of European type transistors.

Features: To equalize with zero overal signal gain, this unit provides a "test light" function. One ballances with the level controls, so that the upper and lower lights light about equally.

10 Bands of control for each chanel: 30, 60, 120, 240, 480, 960, 1920, 3840, 7680, 15360 Hz; Set up to hook into tape path - alling to equalize recordign or playback with a tape monitor function.
