Records - LP's
Warped - How to fix.

Question: I have bunch of old records that have been stacked in my closet for about a year now. Some of them have become slightly warped and are hitting the record player at certain spots as it rotates. Do you know anything in regards to un-warping vinyl records? What are your thoughts and/or recommendations to remedy slight warping of LP's?

Answer: I do not know of any quick and easy way, nor of anything that reliably works - so maybe google, if

anybody has a better method: The best I know is to wedge the record (still in it's sleeve - only one at the time) between 2 plates (cut from thick plywood) the size of the record and put some considerable heavy weight onto that and leave the record there for some time (weeks, if not months!)
